Texas LTC

Approved Texas LTC Handgun Online Course Provider: certified under Texas GC 411.188 and GC 411.190 to administer the LTC Online Course (classroom instruction only). Written Exam included. Unless exempt, students completing this online course must also perform the range proficiency demonstration at the range of their choosing.

Level II

Course is designed for the non-commissioned security guard. This is a guard who does not carry a firearm while on duty. A person acts as a guard company for the purposes of this chapter if the person employs an individual described by Section 1702.323(d) or engages in the business of or undertakes to provide a private watchman, guard, or street patrol service on a contractual basis for another person.

Continuing Ed

For Owners, partners, and shareholders who hold individual licenses as owners only, a total of 8 hours including 7 hours relating to the regulated service provided by their company, and one (1) hour of ethics.; Private investigators a total of 12 or 18 hours, including 8 or 14 hours of which relating to investigations, 2 hours covering ethics, and 2 hours of review of the Act and the rules.

MMPI Level 3

The new MMPI-3 is the most up-to-date personality assessment available for mental health, medical, forensic, and public safety settings. This MMPI is facilitated by a Clinical Psychologist who will perform the assessment and provide documentation required for the application process submission to Texas Department of Public Safety in accordance with his findings.

OC Spray

OC (Pepper) Spray Training is required training for personal defense sprays such as Oleoresin Capsicum (OC), which is recognized within the Private Security Industry as a tool that can aid security personnel when necessary regarding self-defense and controlling others by security personnel.
